Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce myself as the face behind the name.....Every Mother Nutrition – supporting you through every stage of your motherhood journey

My name is Alison and I am a qualified Nutritional therapist, mum to a 5 year old boy and a 1 year old girl. I’ve experienced the highs and lows of pregnancy, a natural birth and a

c-section, the post-natal period and beyond and my passion now is to help women embrace these new stages of their life and learn to thrive in every step of your pregnancy, post-natal journey and beyond using the right combination of nutrition and lifestyle advice for each stage you are in.


I found it very confusing in my first pregnancy navigating, the myraid of online information telling me what to eat to keep myself and baby healthy through pregnancy as well as a lack of easy to follow and realistic guidance as to how to nourish and restore your body and mind in the post-natal period. My programmes can help you learn the right combination of nutrients for each stage you are in, so that you can avoid common pregnancy and post-natal symptoms of exhaustion, morning sickness, digestive discomfort, insomnia, anxiety or depression, brain fog, weight gain, headaches and more.


During my first post-natal period, I initially thought I was bossing being a new mum, little did I realise how the effects of post-natal depletion can creep up on you and around 6 months post-partum I felt like a hot mess, with high anxiety, low moods, sugar cravings, hair loss and an inability to loose weight. I was only in my 1st year of training to be a nutritional therapist then, however I used all the knowledge I had learnt so far to replenish my body with the nutrients it was so depleted in, ensuring I prioritised getting good quality sleep even if in small chunks, introducing some deep restorative breathing and stretching into my weekly routine, running some functional tests to find out at a deeper level what may be causing the imbalances which were unique to me and taking some good quality supplements to help support me through this period. My 2nd pregnancy and post-natal period was a very different story as I was able to use all these new skills to keep me feeling healthy, happy and energised throughout.


My passion now is to support as many women as I can through these wonderful periods of life, be it pregnancy, post-natal, busy working mums, peri menopause or menopause, I can support you in managing difficult pregnancy symptoms, replenish and nourish your body and mind in the post-natal period, help you feel re-energised and tackle those sugar cravings as a busy mum along with helping you can control over those peri-menopause and menopause symptoms to gain a better understanding of whats going on in your body and how to get your hormones back into balance.
